Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival

16 days of great walking in the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and surrounding countryside.

Explore the beauty and heritage of the Lincolnshire Wolds and surrounding area. This year the 8th Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival is offering over 90 walks with experienced and knowledgeable leaders who are keen to pass on their wisdom. Walks range from one mile to twenty and there is something for all ages and abilities. Most of the walks are free. Cadwell Park
A real mecca for bike fans, Cadwell Park hosts the biggest round of the British Superbike Championship, with thousands of spectators travelling to the circuit fondly nicknamed the ‘Mini-Nürburgring’ every August Bank Holiday weekend.

Hubbard's Hills Parkland
Located on the South West edge of Louth with access from the Louth bypass via Horncastle Road (A153) and Halfpenny Lane (first turn left travelling towards Louth) parking at the bottom of the Hills or from Louth using Crowtree Lane and following this road to the car park.

 

Louth Museum is a small museum in the beautiful historic market town of Louth in Lincolnshire, it was built in 1910 by the Louth Naturalists' Antiquarian and Literary Society and is still run by them today.

A Great Family Attraction Rushmoor Country Park is the perfect place for a family visit, with lots of things to do for children, and lovely surroundings where mum, dad, nan or grandad can relax whilst the younger ones have fun with the animals.

The Market Place and Cornmarket comes alive on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, when traders set up their market stalls selling everything from fresh fruit and flowers, cakes and cheeses, to clothing, footwear, hardware, and arts and crafts.

Donna Nook National Nature Reserve (NNR) is probably the best place within the U.K. for photographing grey seals. Each year, as autumn rolls into winter, hundreds of grey seals begin hauling themselves out onto Donna Nooks' sandbanks to give birth to their pups.
